What is SOLKEEP?
SOLKEEP is a browser-based 3D Solana wallet. Floating islands bring together your personal vault, token holdings, swap quotes and market observations. Your wallet keys stay on your device.
How do I create or restore a wallet?
Choose Open wallet, then create a new wallet or restore an existing 12-word BIP39 recovery phrase. New wallets use the Solana account-zero derivation path m/44'/501'/0'/0'. Save your recovery phrase offline, complete the backup check and choose a password of at least eight characters.
Who controls my keys and recovery phrase?
You do. SOLKEEP encrypts your vault with your password and saves it in this browser’s IndexedDB. Recovery words, passwords and signing keys are not sent to SOLKEEP’s API routes. Transaction signing happens locally. Protect your device and keep your recovery phrase private.
Which network and assets are supported?
SOLKEEP uses Solana mainnet. Holdings include SOL, SPL Token and Token-2022 balances. Withdrawals currently support native SOL and the known mainnet USDC and USDT mints. Importing a mint adds it to a local watchlist; it does not establish token legitimacy or enable unsupported withdrawals.
Can I swap tokens in SOLKEEP?
You can preview live Jupiter swap quotes after unlocking your wallet when the service is configured. Swap execution is currently disabled. A quote does not sign or submit a swap transaction.
Can SOLKEEP recover my wallet or reset my password?
SOLKEEP cannot recover your keys or reset a forgotten vault password. Keep an offline copy of your 12 words. If your encrypted vault still exists, the matching phrase can unlock that wallet for the session. To restore into a new browser, use your recovery phrase. Clearing browser data without a phrase backup can permanently remove your access.
What is the difference between locking and signing out?
Lock clears the active signing session and keeps the encrypted vault on this browser. Sign out / use another wallet removes that saved vault after a backup acknowledgement. Neither action moves your on-chain funds. Sessions also lock on page exit, reload or five minutes of inactivity.
Do I need a powerful device to use the wallet?
The floating world uses WebGL and works best in a modern browser. Pause 3D switches to a simpler view; wallet controls remain standard page controls. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. JavaScript is required for wallet operations.
What data leaves my device?
Public wallet addresses, token mints, requested amounts and transaction data may go through SOLKEEP’s API routes to Solana RPC and Jupiter. The market display contacts Coinbase Exchange directly. Sentry receives filtered error reports and sampled performance timings. Google Analytics loads only when a measurement ID is configured.
