A wallet should make it easy to receive and use your crypto without making every visit feel complicated. SOLKEEP Keyless offers a familiar account sign-in, with an optional passkey to add another check before money leaves your wallet.
Here is what keyless means, how to add that protection and what to know before you get started.
What is a keyless wallet?#
A keyless wallet lets you access your wallet without managing a recovery phrase yourself. With SOLKEEP Keyless, you sign in with your account to open a Solana wallet. You can receive assets, view your balance, send supported assets, swap tokens and schedule supported payments.
Keyless does not mean there is no wallet key. SOLKEEP holds it in encrypted form on your behalf. That makes getting started simpler, but it also means you rely on the service and your sign-in account for access.
Getting started with SOLKEEP Keyless#
- Visit SOLKEEP Keyless and sign in with your account.
- Open your wallet to see your address and receive supported assets.
- Choose Security and add a passkey for an extra check on withdrawals.
- Save the backup codes shown during setup somewhere private and safe.

When you send, check the recipient, amount and fees carefully before confirming. Network fees apply, and swaps or scheduled payments may have other costs. Completed blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
Add a passkey for withdrawals#
A passkey adds a second check after sign-in. In your wallet, open Security, choose Add a passkey and follow your device's prompts. Depending on your device, you may use your fingerprint, face or device PIN to approve an action.
Once you add a passkey, sends and scheduled payments require an approval. This extra step helps protect your funds if someone gains access to your sign-in account. You can also use a backup code to approve an action if needed. Check the payment details before approving: a passkey cannot tell you whether the recipient is trustworthy.
Keep your backup codes safe#
When you add your first passkey, you receive backup codes. Keep them in a secure place you can reach if you lose your passkey devices. Each code can approve one action, so never share them or store them somewhere others can easily access. You can add another passkey and manage your codes in Security.
You still need access to your sign-in account to open the wallet. If you lose it, use your account's recovery options and contact SOLKEEP for help. A recovery phrase cannot restore this wallet.
Understand who holds the key#
SOLKEEP Keyless is a custodial wallet: SOLKEEP holds your encrypted wallet key and uses it for eligible transactions you request. You cannot export that key or import a recovery phrase into Keyless. Your access depends on both your sign-in account and the service.
If you prefer to hold your own recovery phrase, the main SOLKEEP wallet offers a self-custody option. It is a separate wallet with a different address, and you are responsible for keeping its recovery phrase safe. Choose the approach that fits your needs.
Simple habits for safer use#
Protect your sign-in account with two-step verification, keep your devices locked and save your backup codes privately. Use the correct wallet address, verify the recipient and review every request before approving it. No security feature can undo a payment sent to the wrong person or eliminate every risk.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a recovery phrase for SOLKEEP Keyless?
